This sturdy log holder makes stacking easier and keeps your firewood organized and off the ground. Use 2x4 preservative-treated lumber with Simpson Strong-Tie Rigid Tie® RTC2Z connectors to build this log holder any size you need in less than hour.

    I just built this log holder. The project was easy and the log holder is great. I’d like to build one that’s longer – about 8 feet. Should I substitute 2x6s for the rails?
